What is Solid-State?

Please click the link for more information: https://yoshinopower.com/pages/solid-state-technology

Can I charge these power stations with solar panels?

Yes, all of our power stations support solar panel charging. You can connect compatible solar panels to harness renewable energy and recharge your Yoshino power station.

Can the power station function properly without Wi-Fi or network connectivity?

Yes, the power station can operate normally without Wi-Fi or network connectivity. Its core functionality, including charging and powering devices, does not rely on internet access. Wi-Fi or network connectivity may be used for additional features like remote monitoring and updates.

What is the UPS feature that is mentioned for the B2000 SST and B4000 SST models?

In case of a sudden blackout, the UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) feature ensures the product can automatically switch to the inverter mode within 20ms.

Does internet connectivity impact the charging process?

No, the charging process of the power station is not affected by internet connectivity. It can charge your devices independently of its online status. Internet connectivity primarily comes into play for remote monitoring and system updates.

What is the temperature range the power station can charge and discharge at?

The power station’s charging temperature is 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit or 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The power station’s discharging temperature is 14 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit or -10 to 40 degrees Celsius. Operating within this temperature range ensures optimal performance and extends the longevity of the power station's battery.

How can I calculate how long the power station will power my device?

You can check the run time remaining on the LCD Screen. This can help you estimate the charging time of your devices and appliances while in use.

To calculate the run time of a device before use, the formula below may be used: Power Station Capacity × Depth of Discharge × Inverter Efficiency) ÷ Device Rated Power

In this calculation we will use the B660 SST (602Wh) and a CPAP machine requiring 60W of power.
The calculation is (602Wh x 0.95 x 0.9) ÷ 60W = 8.6

So in this case, the B660 SST will power the CPAP machine for 8.6 hours.

How can I tell the power station is charging?

When the power station is connected to either AC, DC, or solar input, the remaining time to full charge will display on the LCD screen. Also, the input wattage will be displayed and green icon will animate to showing charging is occurring.

Can the power station charge and discharge at the same time?

Yes, the power station can charge and discharge at the same time.

Does the power station have a cooling fan(s)?

Yes, the power station has a fan(s) that will automatically turn on to keep the unit from overheating.

How do I clean the product?

Use a soft dry towel to wipe gently across all surfaces.

How do I store the product?

If your portable power station is not going to be used for extended periods of time, power off the unit and disconnect the AC adapter from the outlet. Store it in a safe dry place with a temperature of 32-104°F / 0-40°C and humidity within 90%. Every 3-6 months charge the product to at least 80% to protect its battery life.

Yoshino Solar Generators

In an age where sustainable and reliable energy sources are paramount, portable solar generators emerge as the ideal power solution for homes. These innovative devices harness the sun's energy, providing an eco-friendly alternative to traditional gas generators. With the ability to recharge and supply backup power for essential appliances, portable solar generators are not just a trend; they're a necessary investment for every household concerned about energy independence and environmental impact.

What is a Solar Generator and How Does it Work?

Solar power is derived from the sun's rays, which are converted into energy using solar cells. These cells capture sunlight and transform it into electricity, which can then be stored in a battery for later use. Portable solar generators utilize this technology to provide a sustainable and renewable energy source for homes, especially during power outages or in off-grid scenarios. By using solar power, homeowners can significantly reduce their carbon footprint while enjoying the benefits of reliable energy. With the increasing frequency of power outages, investing in a portable solar powered generator is not merely an option but a necessity for those who prioritize energy security.

Components of a Portable Solar Generator Bundle

A portable solar generator typically consists of several key components, including solar panels, a battery, an inverter, and a power station. The solar panels capture sunlight and convert it into electricity, which is then stored in the solar battery. The inverter plays a crucial role in converting the stored DC (direct current) power into AC (alternating current) power, making it usable for household appliances. Together, these components form a cohesive system that provides a reliable power supply, ensuring you remain connected and powered during emergencies or outdoor adventures.

How to Utilize Solar Panels for Efficient Energy

To get the best solar efficiency out of your portable solar generator, it's essential to position the panels to capture the most sunlight possible. This often means placing them in open areas free from obstructions like trees or buildings. Additionally, understanding the angle of the sun throughout the day can help you adjust the panels for optimal performance. By effectively utilizing solar panels, homeowners can enjoy a continuous power supply while minimizing their reliance on traditional energy sources. This not only contributes to a sustainable lifestyle but also translates into significant savings on energy bills over time.
